Clinical Supervision

Being a clinical supervisor is one of my most treasured identities as a psychologist and person. I have supervised, trained, and mentored numerous beginning therapists since 2010, including master's, doctoral, postdoctoral, and early career therapists in counseling, clinical/counseling psychology, and social work. This includes three years as the Training Director of a college counseling center.

I help therapists-in-training and early career clinicians to:

  • feel more permission to be “themselves” as therapists

  • increase their comfort with emotions and with discussions of identity and power

  • more intentionally use themselves and the therapeutic relationship in their work

  • conceptualize cases holistically, considering identities, relational dynamics, symptoms/diagnoses, and cultural context

My approach to supervision is relational, developmental, identity-centered, emotionally-focused, and guided by anti-oppressive and decolonizing perspectives. Whenever possible, I strongly prefer to incorporate review of videotaped sessions in supervision.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss my fees and whether I might be a good fit for you as a supervisor.
